She has donated her own money as well as raised money for candidates. She has worked on campaigns for city council, mayor, NC Senate and House, judges, US Senate, NC Congress, and the 2016 presidential campaign for North Carolina.
In 2018 Kim Coley ran for Wake County Commissioner, winning her district but not the seat, thanks to the doughnut hole of Raleigh. Kim was recently on the 2020 ballot for NC HD36.
As a Christian, Kim derives her foundational truth from scripture. Galatians 5:13 for you, brethren have been called to liberty; only do not use your freedom for your own indulgences but rather to serve with love.
Our forefathers saw the challenges of maintaining our republic, penning the US Constitution as a guide and safety net of our freedom. It is our responsibility to ensure those standards for the next generation. This is her time. This is her part.
